Kirstin is a journalist, novelist and playwright based in Lochwinnoch. Her debut novel, Fishnet, which follows a woman's search for her missing sister, set against the world of online sex work, won The Guardian's Not The Booker Prize in 2015 and is currently being developed for television by STV.
As a journalist she's written for The Scotsman, The Herald, The Independent and The Pool and was Assistant Editor of The List magazine for four years. She also helps run Lochwinnoch's own Toddler group!

Diarmid and his family have lived just outside Lochwinnoch since 2000 and love being part of the village community. His first novel, “Archie Blue Sky” combines a gritty West of Scotland Detective story with a very grounded science fiction involvement. The next book, “Keeper of Souls” continues the story and he has already started the third, “The Man from Hoomp”. They are available to download or in paperback from Amazon, from the Scottish Design Exchange in Buchanan Galleries and from the author.
His greatest achievement, however (and in conjunction with his wife) is the production of two wonderful daughters - if only they’d read his books...
